Tujague’s, Ask for Missy!
Tujague’s, the second oldest restaurant in New Orleans features classic cocktails with a modern twist. Tujague’s, established in 1856 manages to preserve its antiquity yet still to have an atmosphere that is both lively with characters and fun! Put your foot up on the brass foot rail of the beautiful century old cypress bar and enjoy craft cocktails perfectly executed by Missy, the bartender. Every drink tasted was prefect. My favorite was the Ramos Gin Fizz which wasn’t on the menu but was recommended to me by a local wiccan – flamenco dancer named Michelle Marie. Missy shook that tin as if her life depended on it and the result was the creamiest, most delicious one I’ve had to date! Other notable drinks were the “Rose Tattoo", "French Twist" and "Pimms Cup”.
