Jelly garnishes

Create appealing drinks’ garnishes with a jelly preparation and a little imagination!

Recipe :
150 ml MONIN syrup
400 ml water
4 leaves of gelatin

Soak the gelatin leaves into cold water to soften them.
Pour some warm water in a big bowl (not more than 60°).
Place a smaller bowl in the big one and mix 400 ml of water with the MONIN syrup
Mix the preparation with the gelatin leaves.
When all the ingredients are perfectly mixed, pour into your glass and store it in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

  • play with the colours depending on the MONIN syrup you will use
  • decorate your jelly by adding some fruits inside
  • mix spirits such as vodka or gin with the base recipe of 25 cl of spirit and 15 cl of water
  • you can also use agar-agar which is a vegetarian substitute to gelatin
