COCKTAIL : MAGIC XMAS

10 ml MONIN Blackberry syrup
10 ml MONIN Triple Sec liqueur
10 ml fresh lemon juice
20 ml cranberry juice
Top with Champagne

Pour all ingredients except Champagne in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a Champagne glass. Top with Champagne. Garnish with red fruits on a skewer and a zest of lemon.

MOCKTAIL: CHESNUT PRESENT

20 ml MONIN Chesnut syrup
20 ml fresh lime juice
5-6 mint leaves
60 ml cloudy apple juice
Top with ginger ale

Add all ingredients except ginger ale in a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and double strain into a nice tumbler glass filled with ice cubes. Top up with ginger ale. Garnish with a lime zest and a mint sprig.

You can present your mocktail on a small slate plate with apple crips or with a salty appetizer like foie gras on a toast with chesnut chutney on it.

HOT DRINK: GINGERBREAD HOT CHOCOLATE

While opening the presents under the Christmas tree, what about treating yourself with this sweet delight?

20 ml MONIN Gingerbread syrup
30 ml MONIN Dark Chocolate sauce
150 ml milk

Pour Gingerbread syrup in a mug. Reserve. Steam the milk and the Dark Chocolate sauce together until frothy. Pour in the cup. Stir.
Garnish with whipped cream, Dark Chocolate sauce and add the extra toppings of your choice.

You can replace MONIN Gingerbread syrup with Chocolate Cookie, Brownie, Praline, Salted Caramel, Falernum or Triple Sec Curaçao syrups.

Raphaël's best tips:

  • To make your hot chocolate even more indulgent, flavour your whipped cream with your favourite MONIN syrup! See how to give a extra flavoured twist to you whipped cream here.
  • If you have a nice and strong Christmas tree, mini bottles of MONIN syrups will make unusual and fun Christmas balls ornaments! Tie them up with raffia or a fancy lace to the branches of your tree.
  • You can set down a few mini bottle of MONIN syrups on your festive table dressing to give nice colours to your table and let it as a take away gift for your guests!
